that might really help anybody struggling with a mental illnes

:)

Thank you for this app, it might be helpful for someone~ Keep trying to be better.

Great app! Very cute and helpful.

Love it.

As someone with anxiety, this app helps in ways I cant even describe. It motivates me to keep moving forward. The only issue I have with it is when you wake up the booster buddy (mine is the fox) you can still hear the snoring sounds. Other than that, perfect. :)

Very helpful, but...

I find this app to be very helpful, but I wish it had something with anger. I dont know if anger is classified as a mental illness but itd still be nice to have something for it.

Helpful, could use a better symptom tracker

First off, this is a good and helpful app, though it mostly seems geared towards people with anxiety or depression rather than more complex/uncommon mental health problems. Its cute and easy to use; I find it very motivating. However, my primary problem is PTSD, and there arent ways to log flashbacks or dissociation as symptoms. It would really be a big help for me if there were coping strategies for those considering thats my primary issue. Otherwise, good app and I would recommend it to anyone hoping to add a little schedule and encouragement to their day.

Potentially triggering

If youre a psychiatric abuse survivor, I dont suggest this app. Some of the suggestions for when you say youre having a crisis can be triggering, and you dont have an option to skip over putting in hospital info/emergency numbers.

Excellent! Has really helped me!

I havent self harmed since getting this app. I also havent forgotten my medications and have been increasingly helped with the coping skills. The levels and coins help motivate me to check in and achieve the quests. The only thing I which the app had was some USA resources in the website tab. All in all though, this app is definitely the most helpful and easy to use mental health care app Ive ever used.

App Is Supposed To Be For Kids But......

Im nearly 50 and I love my Booster Buddy! Truly it is the most helpful mental health app Ive used and there have been some Ive paid for! Highly recommended!

Good overall, but some suggestions

The app is great. Only used it a couple times, and it has already been helpful. I would only love it if it could remind me of day to day tasks other than medication. I dont take medication and instead have other alternatives. However I always forget to do them, and it would be great if I could get reminders without having to mark every day of the calendar.

very useful!!

extremely helpful and useful app. my only complaint is that i wish eating disorders were somewhat included, because a lot of my struggle revolves around my eating disorder and those symptoms are left out completely. however those are very complex and diverse disorders so it would be hard to include. otherwise this app is really great and very helpful!!

Potentially helpful, but not for me

I can definitely see this helping other people, but its not something I can see actually helping me out

Terrific App

Booster Buddy is a great app that helps you cope and work through a variety of symptoms, such as lack of motivation and delusions. Between the "quests" and your Buddy, it makes you feel good about taking care of yourself.

I like it

I really wish theyd update it a bit, though. It has that "made in 2009" feel, for better or for worse.

Lovely app

Only had it a few days, but I can see that it is really going to be helpful. I like the discrete notification for my meds, but I wish you could set just one day events that dont happen each day. I cant wait to see what is up next as the app keeps including.

Amazing!

It works extremely well and definitely helps with my GAD. It would be better if you added help for hallucinations.

Thanks, Tumblr

I saw a post about this on Tumblr and decided to try it out. Its wonderful! I highly recommend it.

Happy customer

This is such a helpful app for me, as I often forget to take my medicine. The buddy is SO helpful, and there are many wonderful tips and solutions for the problems Im facing. Thank you, app creators, for helping me so much.

Great app but not perfect

I mostly am adoring this app, but I do think it should have some acknowledgement of physical disability in a couple of ways. First, being able to track pain/symptom severity for chronic illnesses or physical disabilities can, like the use of drugs or alcohol, affect mood and mental illness in ways that we dont always notice easily. Additionally, one of my quests today was to go for a walk, something that I am currently unable to do because of my pain levels. Because of this, I feel like its cheating to mark it as complete, and wish there were a way for physically disabled people to re-roll quests if theyre currently unable to finish one because of physical limitations. Otherwise, thoughco really love this app and its helping me a lot!

Cute and somewhat useful

Ive only been using the app for a few days, but theyve been rough ones. The characters are cute, though it would be neat to see more characters and maybe picking your own color for them (I love the rabbits design but the color bothered my eyes). The quests are really good for getting me moving, especially when Im in a slump where thats the last thing I want to do... even just getting up to find paper to doodle on for the quest is enough to get me moving enough to take care of anything I need. Its helped me remember to take my medication lately and with appointments. Id like to see a feature like the appointments/events where you can put in a thing you need to do but set it for several days, so you can see the reminder in the app each day and check it off when you do it... kind of like a to-do list, I guess. Also, it would be great to be able to change your mood throughout the day to track changes. I know there are apps like that out there, but I think it would make BoosterBuddy even more useful.
